When Nathaniel was 14 years old, he started performing at their open mic night and a few years later he introduced me to Fiddler’s. Through the years it has become a favorite spot of ours. Let me repeat: Venturi is a brilliant, delicious gem. When we toured through Europe in 2013, we ate some of the best pizza in the world. So when we arrived back in the Midwest we were a bit worried about finding a great Neapolitan pizza.

Not only did we share our first meal together here in 2003, but their classic cheese pizza paired with a large bowl of the Julia Special Salad is enough to have us say it was love at first bite. For over a decade, year after year, we have eaten Rocco’s cheese pizza, loving every bite. And of course we can’t say enough about Linda and Warren Verteramo.
