Meet Our Team
 

Trevor and Breanna Daugherty, Publishers and Editor in Chief

Trevor and Breanna Daugherty are the owners and co-publishers of Edible Michiana. They each grew up in small business families, enjoying and seeing the fun an ice cream shop and German bakery can bring to life. Trevor also serves as the Editor in Chief of Edible Michiana, leading the overall direction and visual design of the publication. 
 
Additionally, Trevor and Breanna are practicing artisans in Northern Indiana where they own a ceramics studio. You can follow their adventures on Instagram @TEBStudio.

Lisa Barnett de Froberville, Managing Editor

Lisa Barnett de Froberville is managing editor of Edible Michiana. She has childhood roots in South Bend, and has enjoyed living in—and eating her way through—places as diverse as Austin, New York and Paris. When not experimenting in the kitchen, Lisa works as a French translator and teacher.

Ashley Swartzendruber, Recipe Editor, Food Stylist & Photographer

Ashley Swartzendruber is Edible Michiana’s recipe editor, stylist and photographer based in Goshen, IN. She can be found cooking, eating and photographing local food in her home or exploring Michiana with her family. You can find more of her photos, styling, and motherhood musings on her Instagram @mywildhaven.

Hannah Gerig Meyer, Design

Hannah Gerig Meyer is a designer and freelance artist based in Goshen, Indiana. In addition to her professional work as a graphic designer for Edible Michiana and Goshen College, she enjoys cooking with (and cleaning up after) her two-year-old daughter.
 

Deb McAuliffe Sprong, Copy Editor

Deb McAuliffe Sprong is a journalist and freelance editor who has enjoyed rural Hoosier living since 1996. A longtime gardener, she still gets excited each spring when new shoots break through the soil.

Sarah Highlen, Website

Sarah Highlen is the founder of Grapevine Local Food Marketing and a founding member of the NWI Food Council. She is passionate about local food, and can usually be found growing, buying, cooking, photographing or eating food! Follow Sarah on Instagram @sarihache.
